Museum MACAN Reopens with New Health Protocols
Museum MACAN is ready to welcome you back to the Museum. Please read through our health & safety protocols.
Plan the day and time of your visit – entry will now be timed, with three (3) daily slots every Tuesday - Sunday. Come between the hours stated in your ticket, and you can spend as much time in the Museum for the day.
MACAN Society members, Patrons and Corporate Members, and Education Members are also required to book visiting slots.
Book your tickets online, or through our ticketing partners (Traveloka | Tiket.com | Got-Tix | Klook). We will only provide onsite tickets in limited numbers.
The Museum is working in collaboration with a third-party supplier, VIDA Pass - a digital check-in and check-out system recognized by the Indonesian government. You will have to register and provide personal information to VIDA Pass. Information about their system and privacy policies can be found here.
Our Cloakroom will be closed. For your convenience, while enjoying art in the gallery, we encourage you to bring a bag that is no larger than A4 paper or smaller.
If you have been feeling unwell prior to your visit, please consider planning to come at another time.
During Your Visit
Make sure you are well before making your way to the Museum. If you feel unwell, contact firstname.lastname@example.org to reschedule your visit.
Be mindful of others and wear face masks at all times while visiting. We do not allow face masks to be taken off at any time – including for photo taking.
Tickets are for one-time entry only, no re-entry after exiting the Gallery.
Arrival at Museum Lobby
When you arrive, you will be guided to Level 2 (Museum Lobby).
Use your face mask at all times during the visit.
At the Museum Lobby, you will be directed to the Ticketing Counter (if you haven’t pre-booked your tickets) or to Level M (Museum) if you have booked your tickets.
Entrance to Exhibition Area
On Level M, you will be undergoing a temperature check. Maximum temperature for entry is between 36.5 - 37.3 celcius degree.
Scan a VIDA QR code for self-assessment while checking into the Museum.
We provide hand sanitizer in the Public Area and hand soap in the toilet.
At the Gallery
While in the Gallery, maintain a 2-meter physical distance with other visitors.
No food or drinks are allowed inside the gallery. If you brought water bottles or food with you, please keep them safely in your bags.

At the UOB Museum MACAN Children’s Art Space Commission: Color in Cave by Mit Jai Inn
A number of components of this installation have been modified to reduce physical engagement. For safety reasons, visitors are allowed to explore the Color in Cave installation within the Children’s Art Space, but interactive activities are not available for the time being.

All children must be accompanied by adults at all times.
A maximum of 5 visitors is allowed inside the space. In consideration of other visitors, visitors can stay in the space for a maximum of 15 minutes.
Please sanitize your hands before entering.
Change your clothes and shower immediately after getting home.
If you feel sick, please visit the recommended medical facilities. The Museum will provide visitors’ data as requested by the local authorities.
